About Us

Nikoji Smith is the founder and face of The Classy Lady Edition, a company she created to keep herself and other women organized and motivated through planning, journaling and self affirmations.  

As an educator for more than 20 years, creative, author, blogger, wife and mother, Nikoji has been practicing self affirmations through journaling and vision boards for more than 20 years. She was first introduced to vision boards and affirmations by her mother during her  high school years. Nikoji learned that the thoughts and dreams in your head can be turned into something real and tangible through vision boards and daily written affirmations. From here stemmed the birth of the The Classy Lady Edition-Affirmation Journal. 

Nikoji is also following in the footsteps of her father, interior designer, Herman Carter, Jr.  He had a wonderful eye for colors, patterns and shapes that seamlessly go together. 

Growing up he dedicated a lot of time teaching Nikoji about his love of art and entrepreneurship. Over time Nikoji used these key life skills to transform herself into the creative visionary business woman that she is  today. 

Nikoji has always had a love for stationery and planners. After years of jumping from planner to planner and never being satisfied, Nikoji launched  her planner collection of The Classy Lady Edition. 

Having things that are simple, functional and aesthetically pleasing is a way to integrate the parts of her lifestyle that she wants to maintain and grow.  Now she has the privilege of sharing these beautifully thought-out planners, stationery and accompanying items with you!
